Navian Hawaii Happenings
A Night to Remember
Mahalo to everyone who joined us for our 10th Annual A Night to Remember. The evening provided a special opportunity for family and friends to honor their loved ones who have passed.
Na Hoa Malama
We celebrated our 40th anniversary and our name change to Navian Hawaii during Na Hoa Malama, our annual fundraising event. This year’s theme was “The Voyage Together,” and at the event we celebrated our Hall of Heroes and very special community supporters.
Mahalo to our sponsors
Molokai Floating Lantern Ceremony
We held our 6th Annual Molokai Floating Lantern Ceremony in November. The Molokai community was invited to honor loved ones who have passed. In collaboration with the Guzeiji Soto Mission, activities included assembling paper lanterns, decorating them with personal messages and releasing them into the water.
2019 Dove Tree Bereavement Activity
In Molokai, we hosted our annual 2019 Dove Tree Bereavement Activity. It gave the Molokai team the opportunity to reach out to the community and remember loved ones during the holiday season. We are grateful for the generous support of the Bank of Hawaii and volunteers, Dan, Tim, Carol and staff members, Patty and Maile for their support in making this activity possible.
Holiday Cheer
Some of our pediatric patients and their families homes received a special visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. They brought gifts and some Holiday cheer! This was all courtesy of The Noblemen, a non-profit organization based out of Virginia whose mission is to identify and perform Noble Deeds for local kids in need. This specific holiday service benefits children in pediatric hospice care. We are grateful to The Noblemen and their generous act of kindness!
Navian Hawaii Launch Events
We hosted special events for our longtime supporters, friends, and volunteers to reveal our name change to Navian Hawaii and celebrate 40 years of caring for every life journey.
