We're in This Together

Our thoughts are with all of those who have been affected by the virus, including our incredible healthcare community members who continue to work tirelessly to care for Hawaii’s most vulnerable.

In times of unrest and uncertainty, it’s vital that we come together as a community to support and care for one another. While “Navian” may not be a word that you’d heard of before our rebrand, it actually encompasses this very sentiment—navigating and guiding those we hold near and dear to our hearts through the most difficult circumstances. Not only do we hope to be Navians for our patients and their families, but we also want to unite the people of Hawaii and do everything we can to be Navians for anyone who needs a helping hand.

Since our founding in 1979, we’ve remained committed to our mission to bring hope, reduce fears, and impact lives, a sentiment that’s deeply appropriate today. There are so many people who are struggling amidst the COVID-19 crisis, whether they’re single parents working from home while taking care of their children, individuals who’ve lost their jobs, or seniors who must now shelter in place. Amidst this period of panic and stress, it’s crucial that we take care of one another by providing hope and minimizing fears—serving as Navians for everyone in the community.

We see the goodness in our Hawaii community every day. There are so many people performing random acts of kindness in this trying time, whether it be delivering groceries to their elderly neighbors, supporting local businesses and service organizations, or reaching out to family and friends just to see how they’re doing. The hearts of our local community never fail to amaze and inspire us.

So let’s use this unprecedented time to come together and support one another. Rather than buckle in the face of fear, let’s unite and emerge from this challenge stronger than ever. We will get through this new voyage together as a community.
