Dr. Roger and Maria Vraulth worked for two years to found Hospice Hawaii, to spread the word that dying with dignity was a positive alternative to artificially sustain life in the face of a terminal illness. Hospice Hawaii is now known as Navian Hawaii and recently honored Roger Brault as the 2020 Philanthropist of the Year.
