Message From Dan Haire, MBA, RN
Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to visit Navian Hawaii. We are a legacy kama’aina non-profit hospice and palliative care organization that is deeply committed to serving our community. I have been honored by the opportunity to serve as the fourth President and Chief Executive Officer and a warm mahalo to our Board of Directors for placing their trust in my stewardship.
Our history has demonstrated compassion as we deliver excellent serious illness and end-of-life care. In the 44 years Navian Hawaii has existed we have served hundreds of thousands of patients and families and have offered an unmatched experience unique to our islands. Our future is just as bright as we continue to innovate our hospice program as well as our Manaolana Keike Program and Integrated Care Program. Due to a significant donation, this year we will be launching a complete renovation of our Kailua Home.
I’m humbled to serve alongside over one hundred hospice and palliative care professionals who work and live in our community. Their determination to do the right thing for every patient and family every time fills me with immense pride. And we never turn away any patient due to inability to pay. Enhancing this care are our dedicated hospice volunteers. Without their service to our community, we would not be able to make the impact that we do as an organization.
All of this is just a small glimpse at all the hard work our staff and volunteers give every day, all year long. A special thanks goes out to our Board of Directors for giving of their time and talents to help serve as ambassadors for Navian Hawaii.
Lastly, a huge mahalo nui loa to those who have financially partnered with our organization. Without your gifts, our Manaolana Keike Program and Integrated Care Program offerings would be less robust, and our community would be less because of that.
All of us at Navian Hawaii are honored to serve you and our community. If you need more information about how we can help your family, please call us directly at (808) 924-9255.
Mahalo,
Dan Haire, MBA, RN, BSN
President and Chief Executive Officer
